Role Overview: Looking to join a high-growth, fun company where you can have a huge impact? We are looking for a dynamic and strategic marketer to lead our Product and Content Marketing efforts. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our market presence, enhancing product messaging, and driving strategic content initiatives that resonate with our customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of product marketing, excellent writing skills, and seamless stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own Messaging and Positioning
- Develop and refine Webgility’s product messaging and positioning to stand out in a competitive market.
- Ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across all customer-facing touchpoints, including the website, email campaigns, sales materials, and product documentation.
- Craft compelling value propositions tailored to the needs and aspirations of diverse customer personas.
2. Lead Content Strategy and Development
- Co-own MQL and pipeline targets achieved through SEO and thought leadership content initiatives.
- Lead the creation of impactful assets such as web pages, case studies, white papers, blogs, email campaigns, brochures, and help documentation.
- Collaborate with sales teams to design sales enablement resources that effectively communicate Webgility’s features, use cases, and benefits.
3. Identify and Refine new ICP Cohorts
- Conduct customer research and Voice of Customer (VoC) programs to uncover pain points, ideal customer profiles (ICPs), and emerging market opportunities.
- Translate customer insights into actionable marketing strategies and refined product messaging.
- Partner with sales teams to equip them with training, ICP definitions, and updated use-case narratives to enhance outreach efforts.
4. Run Market and Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings, including features, pricing, and positioning, to inform pricing and packaging recommendations.
- Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to maintain Webgility’s competitive edge.
5. Execute Product Launches and Go-to-Market (GTM)
- Lead the planning and execution of product launches, feature updates, and strategic initiatives for both new and existing customers.
- Define metrics to measure the success of launches and optimize approaches based on data-driven insights..
6. Offer Leadership and Team Development
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of marketing professionals across Product Marketing and Content Marketing roles.
- Provide clear guidance, constructive feedback, and growth opportunities to foster professional development and team success.
7. Oversee Vendor and Agency Management
- Manage external vendors and agencies to ensure high-quality deliverables and alignment with strategic goals.
- Drive outcomes through effective resource planning and collaboration.
Success Metrics:
1. Messaging & Positioning
- Market Differentiation: Enhanced positioning through competitive analysis, resulting in improved win rates and customer perception metrics.
- ICP Engagement: Effectiveness in identifying and engaging new ICPs, reflected in increased conversions and new segment pipeline growth.
2. Content Performance and Engagement
- Content Effectiveness: Performance of content assets (blogs, case studies, white papers, etc.) in terms of views, downloads, and engagement metrics like time spent and CTA click-through rates.
- SEO Performance: Organic traffic growth, keyword ranking improvements, and SERP visibility driven by SEO-focused content strategies.
3. Demand Funnel Efficiency
- MQL to SQL to Closure Conversion Rates: Improvement in conversion rates through effective sales enablement, development of required sales assets, and and automated marketing nurtures.
- Launch Metrics: Success of product launches measured by adoption rates, feature usage metrics, and customer feedback within the first 90 days of launch.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in product and 7+ years content marketing with a focus on organic growth, including 3+ years in a team lead role in B2B SaaS environment targeting SMBs in the US Market.
- Project Management: Ability to manage teams and vendors situated across different geographies, and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong grasp of SEO principles, blog writing, and webpage copy writing.
Compensation and Benefits:
INR 30 Lakhs Per Annum - INR 50 Lakhs Per Annum base salary (based on experience), 10-20% variable paid quarterly.
